District Deputy, Sir Knight Charles Howard congratulates Grand Knight, Sir Knight Joseph Syms on receiving the Star Council Award for the Fraternal Year 2008-2009, the highest distinction available to a local Knights of Columbus Council.A total of 1,425 councils throughout the United States earned the Star Council Award. These councils, led by their Grand Knights, conducted the required charitable and fraternal programs in the "Surge with Service" areas, and also achieved their membership and insurance quotas. The Knights of Council 10925 are to be commended for their generous donation of time, money and service in earning this prestigious award.
